SPIKE TV TO AIR ENTOURAGE RERUNS

How much is an episode of HBO’s Sex-&-The-City-the-Guy-Version hit show Entourage worth? Roughly $600,000 – that’s how much the television network Spike TV will pay for the 78-episode back catalog of the show. Spike will air episodes from all previous five seasons, and will have the rights to any new episodes from the upcoming sixth season and beyond.
Spike’s sister station, Comedy Central, will also gain the rights to air the episodes. HBO is currently shopping the rights of Curb Your Enthusiasm and a second run of Sex & The City to other networks for syndication.
This is great news for those of us who can’t afford HBO. We can now live vicariously through Vincent Chase for free from the comfort of our own homes. But don’t worry – the first and second seasons are the best anyways, so if you haven’t seen Entourage before, be sure to check out the upcoming schedule on Spike starting in January 2010.
Enjoy this clip for the time being.
