TSF GOOGLE SEARCH PHRASES PART 2
Back in October, I did a post titled “Interesting Google Search Phrases“, which gave you some insight into the funny phrases people type in Google that lead them to That’s So Fetch. Some of the more popular queries would be “Pop Culture Blog” or “Top 10 Lists”, but every now and then I get some really strange/funny search phrases that are worth telling you about.
Here are some that I have compiled over the last couple of months. These are all 100% real:
“miley cyrus getting laid”
Google searches through multiple postings on your website to find different words and this phrase leads you to the “Miley Cyrus” tag used on this website. No, I don’t have any pictures or video of Miley Cyrus in a sexual act. I enjoy not being in prison.
“youtube guy and girl petting scenes”
Something tells me that this was searched by a Central European. They’re weird. Probably German.
“hayden panettiere stick shift”
I can just see some redneck (probably from somewhere in the 30-mile radius of my hometown) looking for a badass cover for the stickshift on her used ‘91 Ford Ranger. Her name is probably Bertha and she lives in a motorhome in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart.
“hand tattoo porn”
Setting: 42-year-old male in his underwear, mid day on a Tuesday (non-holiday), still living off the residuals from a construction incident involving his autistic cousin, chicken wire, and a nail gun. He has a porn epiphany and decides that he’d be more turned on by sex tattooed on people’s hands. “The old shit just don’t do it for me anymore”, he says.

TSF is literally the 2nd website listed on the first page of this search. I have a few people I’d like to thank: my parents for believing in me and giving me AOL access in 1995 and my 8th grade science teacher for telling me that I write “like a retarded 9-year-old”, deterring me from conventional pen and paper.

7. CHRISTINE LAKIN
Step By Step
Christine is best known as Al Lambert (top left) on the television show Step By Step from 1991-1997. Unable to find respectable work, she attempted to revitalize her career and starred opposite actress extraordinaire Paris Hilton in 2008’s The Hottie & The Nottie, but was unfortunately looked over during Oscar season.

Who’s the Boss?
You may know her as Samantha on the Who’s the Boss? (top left) or you may have seen her as Billie in the current comedy My Name Is Earl.

22-year-old Amanda Bynes was known for her comedy show on Nickelodeon, The Amanda Show, now she’s know for having two of the best legs in Hollywood.
4. NATALIE PORTMAN
The Professional
Natalie Portman broke into acting at the age of 13 in 1994’s The Professional (top left) and has maintained a great career – shaved head and all.
3. HAYDEN PANETTIERE
Remember the Titans
Hayden stole our hearts in 2000’s Remember the Titans as cute and boisterous football fan Sheryl Yoast (top left). You can now see her on the hit television drama Heroes.
2. MICHELLE TRACHTENBERG
Harriet the Spy, Eurotrip
Michelle Trachtenberg was known for her roles in Harriet the Spy and Inspector Gadget, now she’s known for being uber fine. Her hotness was first noticed in 2004’s Eurotrip, where she bends over a lot and removes clothing (video below). We now love her as bad girl Georgina Sparks in the CW show Gossip Girl (top right).

Lacey Chabert is best known for her role as Claudia on Party of Five (top left) or Gretchen Wieners in 2004’s Mean Girls (video below). As one of the hottest human beings alive, she has the pleasure of gracing the top banner of That’s So Fetch’s front page. Her combination of hotness, skill, and sense of humor easily earn her the #1 hottest former child star of all time.

So, it’s 1998 since we last talked. Britney Spears seems to have taken the recording industry by storm – again. Her latest single, “Womanizer”, is currently the #1 song in the world right now. Just a short year ago she was bald and breaking car windows with umbrellas. Now, she’s evidently lost some weight, her husband, and … her clothes. She is literally naked in her new music video. Naked. This is a NSFW video in case you did not understand the plain English that precedes this sentence.
It’s not a bad song – it really isn’t. It grows on you and it’s not going away for a very long time I’m afraid. Is she back for real this time? We’ll see…

NEW MUSIC
Remixes of Katy Perry’s summer of 2008 anthem, “I Kissed A Girl“, were released today on iTunes. This song is no doubt overplayed and overplayed … and then overplayed some more – but I must admit that it’s really hard not to appreciate it. As far as pop production is concerned – it’s perfect. It sounds amazing. I downloaded the Rock remix – it’s pretty good.
Evidently Oasis is still making records – who knew? If those two assholes could actually get a long, the musical landscape would have been much more promising over the last 10 years. What’s The Story, Morning Glory? has got to be one of the most impressive albums of this generation. If anyone has heard their new album, Dig Out Your Soul, send me an email if it’s worth listening to.
Tom Morello (a.k.a. The Nightwatchman) released his second “alter-ego” solo album last week. I will be the first to tell you that I am a huge Morello fan. The work he did on 4 albums for Rage Against the Machine easily puts him in the top 5 guitarists of all time – and the Audioslave albums were pretty damn good as well. Just listen to the 30 minute clips of his solo album, The Fabled City, and tell me he’s not one of the worst singers to ever put out a major label record. Am I going overboard on this? He sounds terrible.
MOVIES OF THE WEEK
Appaloosa
Really really great Western crafted by the genius Ed Harris (Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind) in which he directed, wrote, starred, and did the screenplay for. It’s a great character piece with a stellar cast consisting of Viggo Mortensen, Rene Zelwegger, and Jeremy Irons – who were all outstanding. Mortensen and Harris’s onscreen chemistry was impeccable and it’s great to see a western played out so impressively. It wasn’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s a movie that moves quickly and has great character development. Highly recommended. [IMDB link]
The Machinist
Released in 2004, The Machinist stars a 110-pound Christian Bale who has completely emaciated himself for the role of a disconnected insomniac who hasn’t slept in over a year. This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in the last 5 years. Christian Bale paired with the imagery and unbelievable cinematography make this a must see. The next movie you rent should be The Machinist.
